Hello !

I`ve found here information on some DDR cad programs. I`ve never heared about these. As I`m interested in cad history in general I`m very curious about programs like GEDIT or POLYCON, however I couldn`t find any other information.
Is it possible to get any of those programs/documentation and run it on some kind of emulator or other hardware (I don`t have accsess to any Robotron computer) ?

To run GEDIT, Your OS need a graphical software extension like SCPGX or DCPGX.
The only known graphical extensions run on the computers A7100 and A7150, because it need a graphical terminal (KGS hardware module).
May be there was also a GX for western computers, but I`ve never heard about it.
I`m afraid it is impossible to run GEDIT on a IBM compatible PC.
As far as I know, there is no emulator for the A71x0 Computers.
