It seems to work, although with a bad image as you can see, but that's probably not really a big problem. I am a total newbie at this machine, so I'm going to make some very stupid questions:
- Does it have a BASIC interpreter, or do I need to load one from audio tape?
- Is it straightforward to get audio files from the PC to load on it?
- Where can I download manuals? No problem if they're in German, it just means I'll learn more slowly.
- Can I obtain composite video from it, even if I need to make some small circuit? I do have monitors that take 50 Hz PAL composite?
- What cartridges should I preferentially go after?
Also, I just received a PM from Herr Wolfgang "Beubchen" Harwardt calling my attention to some hardware made by him. Looks interesting, but there's some annoying HTML in there (http://buebchen.jimdo.com/) that makes it impossible to translate via Google.
Also, thanks to the schizo mail operators, WHEN I will get the machine is a crapshoot. May be next week or next year. No, seriously. |
