I have A5120 with K7222.23 monitor with Tungsram B31-G22 tube and bad Zeilentrafo ÜHA78.

Few question:

1) Does it possible replace UHA78 to something modern?
My UHA78 has physically broken high-voltage part.

2) Tungsram B31-G22 tube was film coated (now film is a broken; see photo ). Is it original (factory made) film? Is it antistatic or antiglare?

3) I have K7222 from K8911 with tube from other vendor (i can't remember correctly, may be Unomat). That you think, Is it good idea to replace whole monitor, or better try to repair original?

Unfortunately most of that monitors are going the very same way last time. We haven't found a usable replacement for the ÜHA78 Transformer jet. This FBT is a modified TV
Version anyways, Robotron used a 2nd primary winding on the other coil of the Transformer to get fast flybacks, the original TV Variant only has one coil at all.
The Picture tubes had green anti-glare coatings from time to time, but I do remember tubes that came w/o any coating at all.. so that may differ..

Yes, of course, but it is impossible to find work UHA78 :-(
I can get UHA78 from "new" monitor for repair original, but new will be broken....
