Hello!

Im collecting old computers, and i have nice computer robotron CM 1910

Also i have some problem.

Computes is working but OS DCP have 4 local HDD drives. 2 of them i can't open
Today i kill all disk form ms-dos boot diskette. But new one can't create

Fdisk see two hard disk, but computer have only one! And Fdisk can't create new drives on first or second HDD

And i don't know what to do. Maybe anybody have original DCP OS? (and told me what the program have function like ms-dos fdisk)
Or told me how i can have 1 HDD?

Hi,

nice to read that a vintage computer from former GDR is up and waiting for input at your place.

The CM1910/A7150 is not absolutely compatible to PC/XT. Especially the hard disk controller is a creation out of many TTL ics, high integrated circuits were rare at our side of the wall.

You are seaching for MWINCH, an all-in-one solution for partitioning and formatting. Please include "DEVICE=MWINCH.SYS" in CONFIG.SYS.

Na, nun macht mal keinen Murks.
4 Festplatten hat der A7150 bestimmt nicht, höchstens 2, was auch sehr unwarscheinlich ist.

Dürften also 4 Partitionen sein. Da sollte man erst mal nachsehen, was da so drauf ist.
Das wird dann wohl meher als nur DCP (DOS) sein. Eventuell MUTOS (UNIX),
SCP (CPM86) oder BOS1810 (IRMX86).

Das ACT unterstützt eh nur eine Platte, auch wenn der Controller mehr könnte.

Don't do it before you know what you are deleting.

You computer contains 1 harddisk, splitted into 4 partitions, isn't it?

Which type of hard disk is in your computer?

Press key "c" at the ACT self test and type
a <return>
there to view, what kind of partitions you have and which sizes.
Tell us the result and we may help you to access these partitions correctly.

Old OS in computer stand DCP DOS 3.3
This OS have 4 logical drives in 2 phisical (but computer have only 1 hard drive!!!)
two logical drives in old os i can't open

MS-DOS form diskette see two hard disk too, Fdisk kill all 4 partitions but can't create new one

today computer starting normal with old DCP os!

first im looking for partitions on ACT monitor, thare are two partitions!

Then im type "break" in ACT monitor and computer rebooting and starting normaly 0_o

Then im take edit config.sys and autoecex.bat files, i was del some strange drivers from config.sys type REM

rebooting, and all ok!

A and B drives - floppy. C and D - hard disk partitions. Disk D need to format, and i was formating this partition. Old DCP system survive on HDD!

No. Drive D was an extended partition supported by driver.sys.
BTW: you have a typo now in your config.sys.

Is any interesting software at the harddisk?
Especially Sowjet or GDR software?
